School of Biochemistry is a school offering M.Sc. (Biochemistry) and Ph.D. (Biochemistry) programmes. The postgraduate course is of two years duration split into four semesters including project work in the last semester.

Biochemistry is mainly a research field and after post graduation the student have opportunity to join Ph.D. programme. After M.Sc. the students may find openings in pharmaceutical and food industries, bioinformatics, medical field etc.
